Hello Louie. water looks nice that day. We fish the seashore also. Haven't done much of it lately. Mostly been doing camping at state parks. We went out to mile marker 20 about three weeks ago and caught a bunch of Whiting. I love my Break away rod New subscriber. Have a wonderful day and good luck fishing!!!👍👍😊

Hey, Louie!! My brother Robert Cornelison was Port Director at Port Isabelle. I went to South San Pradre Island, when there an Hotel on the Beach called Sea Island before the Hilton bought it..... And Madta Morris was the Branson of the Valley for all the Snowbirds.... I also went Red Fishing before the big freeze hurt the numbers...

I'm originally from Harlingen I can remember when the only way to drive to the island was across the swing bridge. I was young child then but I guess that still shows my age. Thanks for the comment. Louie

Great video Louie's! Water looks so clear and beautiful. I have the same breakway setup, just that I use Daiwa reels SHA20 for LDX, and SHA30 for HDX, both with 20# test line and 60# shock leader. Great stuff man! Keep them coming 😊👍

Hey Louie notify the coast guard on the survival suit, they may be able to track it to a missing person lost at sea

Like your selection of rods and reels, i noticed you don't use Braided line which i prefer over monofilament i use 30lb. Braid. I use to buy bait but with the sky rocketing prices i will snag or catch my own or i will match the hatch with lures, Peace.

I must be old school I don't like braid. I've tried it a few times and just don't like it. I do know a lot of people that really like it. I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

How far down did you go? Just curious want to try and get out there this summer.
@louisraatz50495 ай бұрын
On the last trip I went down to the 45. You don't necessarily have to drive in that far to enjoy the beach. I usually let the driving conditions and water conditions dictate where I end up. Thanks for watching and thanks for the question. Tight lines Louie

Hopefully we will be getting out of these spring conditions soon. Less wind and lower tides.

Can you tell me how much PSI on your tires before you begin your sand dune journey
@louisraatz50496 ай бұрын
I never air down unless I get into a jam and start getting stuck. Airing down exposes your tire sidewalls to all kinds of hazards such as sticks, nails, hard heads and such. Thanks for the question.
