It works well. I haven't had any issues with the rods banging together. It's convenient having the cooler on the front to put your fish in and your bait is right there. You just have to remember to take the weights off the rods before you start driving. The weights will beat up your rods as you bounce down the beach. Thanks for the question. I built it. I used a rack from harbor freight and added the pvc pipes. When I build a new one I will be sure to use the aluminum one they sell. This one really has rusted. I have cleaned and painted it a couple of times. Thanks for the question. Tight lines Louie.

I like using them sometimes. Seems like the fish were only biting on dead shrimp go figure. I tried live mullet cut whiting and cut skipjack. The cut whiting did catch a 17 in trout i didn't even know it was on the line. Thanks for the comment and tight lines Louie

I was out there Friday and Saturday around 15MM the seaweed was horrible! Looks like it’s cleared out.
