So pretty! When using builder gel it’s always best to do a thin mapping layer/slip layer, so when you apply a bigger bead of gel, it pretty much does the work for you! It self levels, also by turning the hand upside down, you can watch the gel level out and create an apex 😁 doing it this way means you barely needed to move the gel around, which may end up causing air bubbles. Amazing design as always ♥️

Also wanted to let you know that Suzie at Nail Career Education now has a line of Monomer that has no smell to it. It doesn't set as fast as regular monomer but there is no smell! You may want to check her out! She is in Canada.

Gorgeous!! Yes it's called a slip layer. I'm working with builder gels and Polygel. I love them both! They don't have that awful Monomer smell and I can do my nails at home with my daughter being home schooled until this virus goes away. One day I'll pick back up with acrylic again.

I have to say first off, that absolutely gorgeous super shiny burgundy (ish) is just amazing!!!, I can’t even tell you how abso-bloody-lutely it is, just fabulous!!!, your nails just get better and better by the set! I get so excited when I see a notification of a new video, love the marbling, you are really perfecting that art as well, you can certainly see from the beginning up to now...what a huge difference, you must be so proud of yourself Natalie, you have really come on in leaps and bounds!!! Girl it’s been over a 100 degrees this week and supposed to be 102 degrees the rest of the week!! 🔥 even inside with the airconditioner on I have to have a fan going. The humidity is just awful too!! August is our hottest month so thank God it’s almost half over!!! 🤠🤠🤠

Oh I love that purple colour it looks like a deep plum it’s just gorgeous or a black cherry colour. You are correct you usually put a thin layer of gel down and then you put your sticker lower over top but if you don’t it’s not the end of the world

Nat one of your best sets, love it so Autumn. The reason I believe for the slip layer is that gel will follow where gel has been, so this makes it easier to guide the structure layer. Hope this makes sense. 💜

So I saw a brief video somewhere on the difference between mixing glitter in gel and applying it versus burnishing dry glitter on a tacky layer. When burnished, the glitter lays flat which creates more shine reflection than the glitter pieces floating at angles in gel. Could you do a comparison for us?

We don't care if there are fan sounds in the background at all. Its bloody hot in the states also! It's been 85-90° F with very high humidity and I'm melting!! It's been a very very hot summer here this year. Hasn't been this hot in about 23 years! The nails are gorgeous as always Nat! I've never played with hard gel. Is it easier than polygel?

I am in Canada and it’s damn hot here too. I also have problem using acrylic because my husband I’m a senior does not like the smell and he’s got COPD so it makes him sick so I’m waiting for the odourless Mia secret monomer to come and I’ll check that out but I love gel

Airconditioners and bathtubs are not common things in europe tbh. The airconditioners have never been a need we used to have only a few hot days a year that changed to whole weeks/months since Fukushima and bathtubs take up space not many people have. A normal American home is almost considered a mansion here :)

Rinie Cassteele-Koedijk thank you for telling me about this. I feel bad for you. We are so spoiled here. My husband and I are middle class and we have a 4 bedroom three bathrooms home. We have air and sprinkler system. It is like the average home. When you have things you think it is what everyone has unless you live in a big city. I live in Montana and if you don’t live in a city you live in the country usually with lots of land. Montana is one of the biggest states but New You city has more people in it than our whole state.
