So what is the difference between builder gel and regular clear premium gel? You said builder gel soaks off? In which instances would you choose one over the other? Thanks!

Hi Nina :) Builder Base is a "builder in a bottle", but does have a soak-off formulation. It can be used for natural nail overlays for clients who may have softer natural nails as an alternative to our Natural Base. Our sculpting gel is a traditional sculpting gel that comes in both a jar or a squeeze bottle & nozzle and needs to be filed off for removal. Sculpting gel is more predominantly used for creating gel extensions.

Problem is is that it take 10 times as long to apply these super thin coats which to me it timelessly endless…ughhhhh

Hi Corrine :) We're sorry to hear that you feel this way :( We recommend this particular application procedure to avoid any issues with curing as our Gel Polish has an extremely creamy, pigment rich formula which allows for great, even coverage in thin coats (some of our colors can even get away with 1 coat!) This in turn means less product use while still offering great color payoff! We emphasize thin-coat application to avoid any rippling/under-curing of generously applied product, which in turn could cause the service to run longer if product had to be removed then reapplied.
