I wonder if your tomatoes would benefit from egg shells & chicken poop? Some squash around tomatoes keeps weeds down & acts as mulch, like the grass, very good baked & stuffed. Do you share the grass with chickens? Also, those hills make great terraces for garden beds - one for potatoes, others for corn, green beans, squash & onions. Dill basil & parsley good companion plant for tomatoes. Maybe some pear, plum & apple trees? Love watching your progress & creative solutions, gives me good ideas😊cheers from Canada🍁🚛🚜

@@MyCabinInTheMountain Steepness is beneficial, making level spots creates grow areas, like wide deep steps tilted slightly back & bit higher at front edge. I've seen others do this, called terracing. It slows down water flow, retains it & makes more growing space. Like what you did with new chicken coop area below house, but not quite that large?

We were lucky, a few kilometers away it destroyed all the roofs, I only have damage to the shed and chicken coop. The little cat is from a farm and was quite wild. I appreciate you watching my videos thanks 👍🙂

Welp that hail storm sucked... shame about the damage... to be fair those sheets are awfully thin... perhaps replace them with something a bit more durable? I usually use Eternit fiber cement sheets. Those PVC ones are usually only 4mm thick and become brittle fast in countries with lots of sun hours...
