At HardOff looking at the JUNK section is like going back in time. VHS, tube TV, etc 😂

I'm definitely hitting that 5th floor! When you mentioned it having everyting i could want, I went, "heh! model monorails?", then realised, probably yes! Weirdly, just yesterday, I was using this shop to persuade my other half that, yes, we must go to Japan this year.

Interesting shop! Reminds me a bit of when I went to a dollar store Tool shop in Japan. My oh my they had some good quality tools for cheap there! Would defo recommend

I prefer 5th floor for looking but prefer 1st for things I would actually buy.

I couldn't tell, does Hard Off have dvds? We definitely discovered book offs too late last time... we are looking for specific dvds (got a spreadsheet of course) and gotta know where to spend our time at lol

Could spend a lot of time and money in there. Would really like an old Walkman, browse through the vinyl, check out some Pokemon cards and toys. Somewhere I have a Sony disc man, I used to like to make my own discs from my ITunes and listen when I went on neighborhood walks, good memories. Thanks Drew.

I’ve got 11 bluray movies from them. Movies I like but with the Japanese cover. Would have got a couple of 4k UHD movies last trip but that format in japan is so expensive.

I went to Hard Offs in several cities on Hokkaido. Prices were much cheaper than the main island. Kushiro had the cheapest prices I found.
