Hard Road - Billy Ray Reynolds

"Hard Road" is an early (circa 1987) music video of singer/songwriter Billy Ray Reynolds and one of VMI's first music videos (see The VMI Channel). Actually, Billy Ray's talents are even much broader. Among other things, he is also an actor, director, producer, writer, musician, and civil war authority.
Billy Ray wrote and performed "Hard Road." With a little persuasion, he even convinced his son to play the young man who took the "Hard Road" with him. In the cowboy tradition, father and son are brought to justice by being hung from a tree.
The "Hard Road," in Billy Ray's case, has paid off - From playing guitar in Waylon Jennings' band, having his songs recorded by Johnny Cash, Tompall Glaser, Dickey Betts, Tanya Tucker, and Johnny Rodriguez,, to being a successful recording artist, and acting in movies & television shows.
