Guys, the mining coverage is really interesting and informative. Wish I was 30 years younger to actually experience a day’s activity. I’d be interested on the weekly logistics of supporting your actual mine activities. Such as making meals, cleaning clothes, washing yourselves, going to town for mine supplies, groceries, paying bills, etc. Like all workers there is the “face time” and there is that time needed to support that actual mine work. Great work guys. That’s a lot of physical effort, every day. Thanks guys for the great filming and shared knowledge. Year ago I didn’t have a clue the mining process.

I'm really enjoying and relating to the mining videos you and Jason are putting out. I'm working a small hard rock prospect up in Alaska and I'm learning a ton of good stuff from the videos. I have one small suggestion that will help make your bucket work much less miserable. Get a 20 pack of the orange snap on bucket handles and use them on all of your buckets. They make an 80 lb load feel like 40 lbs. Keep the videos coming, it helps me get my mining fix during the off season.

Rail bender 33:40 take 4 HD truck U bolts for spring packs and a piece of rigid plate, rectangular and a hydraulic powerpack manual pancake jack. Slide the rail in or unbolt the U bolts and put around the rail to be bent and gently apply pressure until the desired deformation is achieved 😉👍 Putting thumb wheels on the nuts is advisable for ease and finding them😂

Nice work 👏 Glove tip... I always make a single stitch with heavy thread near the finger tip (I prefer the outside of the finger) before 1st use. It will keep the liner and shell of your gloves together when taking them off with wet hands 🫳🎤👏

Time and expense we don't have. Once we reach the raise we won't spend much time in that part of the stope. I would love to chill beer in the mine except MSHA will fine you $1,000 per beer. This happened decades ago with a 6pack.

Sun comes up fan comes on, sun goes down fan shuts off. You could do the same with 12 volt dc led lighting. Plus the HF 18 volt solar panel comes with 2-12 volt led lights on 20-25 feet of wire with a switch. Rewire with Bell wire (1 red, 1 white twisted) then you can go farther distance from power source. Could you have been blasting both ends to meet up in the middle? you dont even have to muck it all just have enough room to get the rails and carts through in the middle of the muck. . only thing i can think of is the blasting might push out the explosion on the other side. could you have been drilling on the opposite side? like the drilling is 1 day work while mucking is 2-3 days. if you took 2 days to drill on both sides 1 for each side then blasted, you'd have more muck but you might have had a cleat path to the shorter route, and you could have ignored the muck on the side off the track. (and of course put the explosions in after you drilled on the other side to prevent accidental hitting it) ah 18 feet away.

looks like you guys had a good year, i have a question, is the ground on which the track is placed considered to have value, Jason mentioned a while back about setting up a business to process asphalt and cement using one of his rock crushers, i have been thinking about this concept and some of the considerations that go with it, still not sure if it would be a complete money maker, but if a concept i have could prove correct, it may provide the material to lay track on and fill holes for independent gold miners, but that is not the point of my commentary really, however your answer will determine the value of my next statement, which is, the rock pile you guys are building off to the side, does it hold potential value, if it does, would it be considered fruitful to set up a small processing plant and use the processed waste for road fill and track levelling, if its not too big, a small rock crusher and a Gold Hog and something to process the fines, might yield enough to pay for taking quiet moments processing a bag or so each day, anyway, take care and God Bless, i look forward to watching what you guys get up to next year.

Harry, you and Jason are the most hard-working Mucker Truckers....🛻 Thanks for the share....⛏⚒⛏ P.S. ... Ask Jason if you could use some more tidy cat buckets ? I have 100 or so of them, you could stop by and get them on your way up north for next year. I am right off of I-5 in the Rouge Valley of southern Oregon.... Free to you, you ship, haul ! Let me know, my e-mail is listed on my channel.

Hi Harry, I liked the video overall and I really liked segments of it. I think you have a lot of talent for the artistic side and for the authentic side, so I'll leave a bit of criticism. I make YT videos, and I know how difficult it can be to create a story. Often the best comments are about things that I could have done better. So, here goes: I got bored during the conversation, so it could have been better edited. The point-source lighting in the mine can be very beautiful and mystical for artistic reasons and it leaves the viewer with a strong impression of the blackness and loneliness of the place. However, I'd love to see more of the vein and the gold and the geology and for that the miner's lights are not so good. I would buy a small LED wide angle flood lamp and use it for the shots around the new section of the mine and while explaining what's happening with the slip, the blasting, the mucking, etc. I loved the cut with the sound of the water while you were in fast-mo. That worked. The sounds of the water, the cold and the damp are things that your viewers can experience through your film and you're starting to get those feelings into the videos. Nice job. -- Dave

A counterpoint regarding the conversation: I really enjoyed that bit; it felt like I was sat there while the two guys talked shop. I've been there, sat exhausted and listened to colleagues talk about the next steps so for me it was something I strongly related to.
