I was there over 20 years ago; it was Aventura Spa Palace back then. Ranks up there up there as the best 15 days of my life. Everyday, we tool trips to different ruins, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel...everything, including food, was taken care of by Aventura. Such a good time.

We were just here. Food is great . Just book restaurants in the morning . Staff was great as well as entertainment . Awesome water park now added as well and adult side has undergone renovations . Defintly recommended. Will be going back in 2024 for our 3rd time !

I think when traveling to any foreign country expect that everyone in that country speaks there native language , I always take a rough course to the language spoken to any country I travel too , at least the essential words just to get by and also use Google translate

Did you guys get a strong smell of sewer behind the blue lobby? I believe that the sickness may have come from the bacteria that spreads from the aerosol spray from fountain sitting in the middle of the sewer pond right next to the outdoor restaurant next to the pools. The sewer also runs under the azul lobby leading out to the black painted deck where you see the blue black sewer waste. Clearly, this resort sends the sewer from the facility to a pond placed right next to their pools. Does anyone know where this can be reported?

Next time I am getting sampling done to prove my point regarding in-house sewer and waste recycling/drying at the expense of international customers. Place is so remote that there is no way they have township help for waste management.

@@KassieP-sf6nz when you are there, LOOK and SMELL (you don’t need to wait till you HEAR from families that develop gastrointestinal issues while staying there) the area near where the pool party is organized. The sewer recycling area is all painted in black and you can smell the stench all the way inside the building where the music and performances are held. Look at the name of these accounts that are posting that all is well. They are ids created specifically to try and mute this report.

I keep hearing about this legendary hard rock hospitality but when I asked for a fan I was told no. Luckily I found one in a cabana. The pool in the club actually had a floor over it for some reason. Also I had some good food at the restaurants, but I could hardly get any of the room service food down. And since most of the resturants are reservation only, you will more than likely have to have it at some point. I was there the day before this video was posted. Overall the hotel’s beaches and pools were phenomenal, but the food was the biggest downside imo. Also if I would advise anyone going to learn some basic Spanish because the language barrier was a challenge. But that was my mistake.

Mostly very good, good food and service. Lot of humidity which they can’t do much about. Loud annoying Americans who feel the need to constantly talk (shout) louder than the person beside them is the main drawback

Yea, most of their employees only speak Spanish.
