I would love to see more of these! I have a malinois and I think she’d be a great tracking dog. I love to watch those who know what they’re doing and glean. I really appreciate you taking the time to make all your videos. It takes a lot of your time to do it!

Would really like to see more of this its good and you explain it very clearly. Tracking is the hardest for the dog to pickup is what I have read . Your a Good Dog trainer and you know how to reach out to others to help over come our obstacles that we face.Books are good but it makes my life a lot easier to watch you work through this eyes on . Thank you for Sharing.

I thought the voice-over was great, and really enjoyed watching him work this track. I don't have a sport dog, but have done some fun searches with my pet dog, a blackmouth cur, who does more of a trailing style, so it's interesting for me to see this style where the dog follows the actual track, as opposed to just, "find the guy". Thanks for the video!

How does the dog know what odor to track? Always been confused with this. Is there an article they take sent from or is it just the fresh odor they pickup on?

It’s a cue for him to begin tracking, much like a “track” command.

If the wind had blown the majority of the scent picture to the opposite side of the road and stuck to the vegetation, would you allow him to follow that? I struggle if I should try to keep my dog engaged on the foot steps or allow her to follow the strongest odor?
