Hard times you say. They were the best of times, we had everything, the garden outside the door, the goats on the hill, the hens sitting on the half door, which was left open night and day I could go on and on, the parish was the family.

Great. I agree. No crime etc. Walked all over our farm ane never Even think of anyone hurting us. FAMILY OF 8.. Great village. NO SOUP KITCHENS ETC. NEVER EXPECED A HAND OUT. WE WORKED AND PROUD OF IT. GOD BLESS MOM AND DAD AND IRELAND.

Hello, yes it is fake. However it a portrayal and correct at that how the people back then lived and conversed. I used to deal with farmers back in the late 1960's/70's and they were exactly like the actors in this film.
