@10:00 Philodendron Lemon lime is an inexpensive common plant in my city that costs 1 euro and is twice as big. I actually have 4-5 of them. I can't believe it is priced as 40 euro especially when it is such a vigorous grower.

I've noticed those silver marks on a few fleshier leafed plants. I think it's damage where the surface of the leaf gets skinned ever so slightly.

The terrarium plants with the colorful leaves that you liked are Coleus. They make a beautiful presentation on their own . In the USA they are annuals in the cooler areas but can be brought inside for the winter and if kept in a bright south or west window. That ship had great plants.

I chuckled when you said this wasn't the cheapest shop. I live in the US and I've never even seen most of these plants in person. And the ones I have seen or priced online, the prices are three or four times higher. Fun video!

Oh my gosh, the plant selection is so much better in Europe and the prices are so affordable. You never see those plants in shops over here in the US. We have to buy online and pay 6 times as much. That Cuprea would be $300 over here. If I saw these plants over here in a shop, I probably would think I was hallucinating.

haha if you like hoya, check the botanical gardens tour i did a while back (a new one coming in spring i think :) ). we got to access the closed for the public hoya greenhouse and it was,.... magic!

Those Portulacaria Afra are also called elephant Bush because elephants actually eat it. I have the green but want the variegated one. I had a variegated one but it kept dropping leaves. Something was wrong. I think it had root rot from poor care at the store. They hardly need to be watered.

I thought that this was some kind of special garden center. I was so shocked when I saw an Intratuin tag hahaha. I hope Intratuin will start selling these more rare plants at other locations too! I did once find a variegated Monstera Deliciosa at an Intratuin for €5 though, it was an 'accidentally' variegated one standing between the normal ones hihi

Wow!! In California the prices 2 to 5 time higher with 1/2 the selection . I would flip out With those prices!! I’m going to film my poor excuse for a plant shop. The Hindu rope plant with 3 vines is $60 US at my local plant shop. That place is heaven to us plant nerds in Northern California.

They do put them on the floor! I was just a day late and by then all they had were the reserved ones. I agree that it's not the best system but First come first serve wouldn't be fair either! because then only people who live closest get them.. People drove 2 hours to get their hands on these. It changes, most shops have less uncommon plants in fall and winter, and more again in spring. Plus every intratuin is different, Amsterdam has a very good collection compared to others.
