Thoughts on Xbow/Wand ? I know that pretty much nobody plays that but I'm kinda wondering how good it is in terms of healing especially after that changes in KR servers with bow/wand. I feel like in terms of damage this class isn't missing any of it especially if you sleep plus aoe attk from xbow. I kinda want to try and cook with it but I dunno if it would actually work and if I'd still keep all my impact with heals during GvG. Also wondering if the healing would be good enough for pve content too. Any tips for me 🙏 ? Like should I go endurance or evasion ? Any stats I should prioritize ?

I see you have a build focused on evasion and endurance, but is it working? I don't see any missed hits coming through Personally, I’m building a full endurance setup, though I’m not sure if it’s the right choice or not

Eli I gotta be honest with u, I dont have that much time to play the game and already spent all my lucent on the Melee Eva and Ranged Endurance build. With all the trades and stuff. Do u think its a good idea to keep moving forward with the evasion healer build? Like for T2 and so on? Cause they say that they will bring a whole bunch of new items with Hit chance and Wand/Bow is not specifically evasion centered. Im afraid that we will not be able to reach the minimum requirements for Eva.

Hi, Evasion build is always going to be strong in T1 and there is a T2 Pre-Talandre Melee Evasion build that reaches 2.4k Melee Eva without overstacking Melee Eva runes. It will fall off in Talandre at the moment, but we luckily won't see Talandre until next Fall or late summer. So don't worry too much about it, you're good!

@@EliEli.MMOPVP Thanks, however a bit worried about mana efficiency in this case, before it was 43.5%, with new build it's 10.8%. Wouldn't it be a problem? For me it's hard to say, without actually finishing build. Also I see you switched from Hit Chance to Buff Duration in Tome Traits, any particular reason why Hit Chance is not needed there?

@@akva6 Hi, Mana is fine. I run that amount just fine. Also, with Longbow you don't run any offensive abilities that require Hit. Tornado is multi-hit and always lands on majority of enemies hit. So it's better to run traits you'd actually make greater use of.

You can use Hit. You just might not have enough Hit still.

Oh geez A LOT haha. It's hard to summarize all of them here, but there are several accessories that give triple stat points AND Crit, Heavy Attack, or CDS buff all together. You can check out a full list on Questlogg, but SO MANY good options.

@@Pailens I'm searching in a feel foruns and, what some peaple say is: when u use a weapon that IS NOT your main weapon, it switches the big nodes for the one that uses the spell. But the little ones are aways active. So, i thoght that, if u are holding the bow, u loses the 16% healing of wand maestry. But, apparently no. The big nodes are activates when u use the swift healing, for example. With that in mind, its really better use the bow as main weapon. the litte nodes are better, since the only nodes thar matters in wand, is the healing boost big nodes.

Same. for PvE it's whatever, but for PvP having 3 HT stacks is so good I think you just need to keep HT on your bar for situational usage.

Use nature's blessing more often (has mana regen), use the fountain of life with mana regen. Add max mana/mana regen/mana cost efficiency traits on your armor. Get some armor/weapons/accesories that have max mana/mana regen/mana cost efficiency on them. Maybe also change your weapon specialization skills for the mana regen and mana cost efficiency.

Eli, I have to ask about the game because I trust your knowledge. First of all, I don't understand this critical hit concept. Does critical hit cause me to hit the opponent critically and also cause the base (min-max) damage range to approach max, or does it just increase the critical hit chance? If so, unless the opponent has endurance, I will always hit critical hits and I don't understand why everyone is trying to hit so many critical hits. And is the reason for these differences in our damage (even if we hit critical) only RNG or does critical hit increase this as well, as in my first question?

Hi! Thank you. When you Critical Hit, you will always deal your Max Damage output. Critical Hit is always subtracted from Endurance and vice-versa. Yes, if someone has no Endurance, you have a high chance of Criting, but it's not guaranteed because Critical Hit has diminishing returns. For example, 1,000 Critical Hit = 49% Critical Hit Chance. It's not 100% due to diminishing returns.

@@EliEli.MMOPVP Thank you, another one, Can we trust the evasion accounts on questlog because I have seen many misses with a hit chance of 1300-1400?Most of my sleep, curse or other curse damage can be missed, even if I have enough sleep and weaken chances

@ chances won’t impact misses. Only counters resistance. You should have 1k magic hit if you’re playing with more offensive skills.

Eli, I'm just so lost.... Ive been trying to figure out a build for myself. I see a lot of support players going full tank and giving up on cooldown/healing power, and honestly I really wanna throw down some big heals lol. You think a build with transcended one/mother nature hoodie can work? I would get like 12k hp and still have 40 cooldown and some good heals...

Hello Eli! Thank you for helping healers like me getting better. I play healer with staff instead of bow but my main question is what is better for my traits? I play with evasion melee & range. I saw you build endurance and i also saw many people building melee evasion & range endurance. I have to change my traits if i have full evasion? I know bow healers have the endurance passive but staff healers have the high focus active for the extra evasion. Maybe i have to go range endurance and melee evasion? Can you give me an advice? Hey Eli! Thanks for the content! I play staff and wand, but I kind of rerolled to help my guild, I was staff and dagger before. One of the things that I miss is to make more damage, like, i feel the class has potential to balance sup and dps. Do you think that it is possíble, or troll? I couldn’t figure out a build for it

It's possible with just Flash Wave and you use that already. You could also add in Decisive Sniping, but that's about it. All other abilities are single target which aren't that helpful in large scale fights.

It's stats. Stats like Dex and Wis provide more Base Damage increase.

70 perception increase your CC. and also increase sleep time very long. (and Hit chance gets high with perception); and try Karmic Haze after a sleep for sleep bomb

Hey, im cooking an end game healer build with 65 dmg reduction. Do you think that is a bad set up for open world pvp? I hear xbows and daggers are the ones that are ripping it up right now, and im trying to counter that with all the little hits they do. Or do i chase melee endurance for the greatsword counter?

There's a KZbinr called grobs, he made a wand/bow pvp video that I followed exactly to my end game set, he shows a budget version and bis versons, I am ranked top 40 in ranked 3v3 arenas it's a very strong build check it out

It's small scale. Most of the time Deadly Marker can be more helpful in these smaller fights where you'd encounter more Wand/SnS or other healers you want to quickly kill with your group.

curse bombing is soooo strong but the rotation takes up alot of your skills and youre more of a support dps and gonna struggle keeping people alive. However if youve got multiple people running wand in large scale pvp it should work well, keeping people and youreself alive is gonna be tougher tho

Do you think invincible wall is worth it? Seems like the shield it provides when spread to other targets is almost negligible.

Negating damage is equally important to healing. invincible wall can negate a significant amount of damage, so absolutely worthed.

Hm... Not to nitpick but isn't this just the boons of being a healer in general? It just seems like people that can heal because they can heal for like... half their HP pool with one cast of swift healing... are just always hard to kill in general only by the simple fact that they have the "option" to heal... rather then actually being hard to kill.

Healers are very easy to kill if people know how to do it. Most DPS weapons have a 60% healing reduction ability. This makes my heals do next to nothing and I'd have to put in serious work to just stay alive. Normally you should just die. On top of that, using debuffs that decrease Eva and or End and coordinated CC can easily kill any healers, including Wand/SnS. So if a healer is hard to kill, it normally means someone or multiple people are doing something incorrect.
