As someone who has "high-functioning" Autism, where we're generally awkwardly social and not the type who reads the room or conversations, you'll be surprised how anti-social the otherwise social "normies", "neurotypicals" and "extroverts" are. I've been to a great amount of business casual social events in various cities, particularly big ones, and I was able to read the room and conversations a lot better than half, if not most, of the "normies" in those events. I won't be surprised if Featherbangs is one of those many examples of said "normies" in said social events. XD Comes to show that everyone is different, whether or not people are "normal" or have a disability, as well as the fact that we are technically a combination of introvert and extrovert and not the stereotypical black and white version of such. Also, this episode is a good moral episode that is a...semi-realistic version of Hearts and Hooves day. :P

Hey Golden, thanks for reviewing this episode. Through it's faults.. many faults, I too had fun and enjoyed certain moments. But what really makes this episode special for me is how I met my girlfriend almost immediately after watching it for the first time. Now I'm not calling it "Love at First Sight", but rather meeting someone special and later asking for their heart. Kinda ironic to meet the love of your life after watching an episode about relationships. The message and moral was delivered greatly and I thank the episode for beginning an era of happiness inside both my girlfriend and myself. Thanks for reading and I hope to see more so you can catch up before Season 9 begins.

Hi Goldie! I know you may never read this but I’d like to bring up a defense against your criticism against Feather Bangs (and no it’s not one of those “how dare you hate someone so pure and pretty” ones, lol) Your problem is with his asking for help talking to those girls at the end of the episode. And his obliviousness. Well, to an extent, I will defend this. All of his previous actions, the lines, the juggling, the song, all of these were, in essence, performances. They required practice and planning beforehand, and he knew them so well he could pull them out at the drop of a hat. His displays were organized , scripted, and basically Pre-planned so he knew exactly what to do and didn’t make a mistake. However, a one on one conversation is something a person cannot prepare for like a performance. That’s what makes him nervous. And I say this because I am the same way. I am an introvert with extroverted tendencies. And I am a performer. I can perform for people because, despite opening up emotionally at times, its also somewhat impersonal. A One on one conversation, ESPECIALLY with someone new or I have a crush on, is TERRIFYING. So that’s just how I perceive his last few lines in the episode.

I am one of those who always liked this episode, even with it's issues. Sure I did cringe (especially with Sweetie Belle relying on a fairy tale book, oi!), but this episode made me laugh a lot. It's one of the few to do cringe humor right, along with Brotherhoove's Social. And hey I loved Feather Bangs because he could have EASILY be mean spirited, but he wasn't. It often is that way in love triangles, one is obviously acting like a jerk. Fun review Fox and yeah even though I am a HUGE romantic and love escaping real life at times, I know that living in a fantasy is not the right way to live. It's actually why at the end of the day I don't take MLP too seriously, even with episodes I despise. Because in the end it is just a show and I have more important things to focus on. I do let shows and other stuff inspire me to be a better person and what not, but that's pretty much it.
