There's nothing like a supercharger to make you smile, the noise they make is just music, I've got a few cars which I've had supercharged, including a Volvo 242 coupe with a Lexus LS 400 engine, it's my favourite sleeper, quite as a mouse, but it'll blow you away at the lights, thanks Larry, Rj in Oz

Sorry…..as cool as this car is; it doesn’t walk a 765LT on a track. Pls get your facts straight. Perhaps the DRIVER was a factor. Taking the driver out of the equation; the LT takes it. The weight difference alone between the two cars is a huge factor. The 765 weighs 3060 pounds due to its carbon monocell and other lightweight-ing techniques. The R8 weighs 500+ more pounds!!. The LT dynos at nearly 750hp at the WHEELS. Even with all-wheel drive; the 500lbs difference is a much greater factor on dry track. The LT was built for track use. It’s gonna take more than 3-way motons and a blower to put an LT down at a track. Perhaps your boy is faster on the track vs. his mate…….but his car isn’t. Sorry, just fact.

Larry giving the R8 some luv! You should go drive a Gen 1 with a gated manual. I think you would really appreciate the analog experience of that model, esp with the naturally aspirated V10! If you're ever in the Bay Area, you're welcome to drive mine! BTW, the R8 has been around for about 15 years now. The Gen 1 looks more timeless and less polarizing than the Gen 2, but to each their own. It's a supercar without the posh stigma. I love mine. It was my dream car.

I've had BMW technicians say that they aren't reliable. This guy states that to make them better you have to modify them. I just dont get the hype either. Why would I spend more money to make it dependable after spending over a hundred grand on the car....CRAZY!!!
