Priorities are constantly going to change as you get older. Nothing wrong with it, that it's just life 👍 The day a hobby feels like a job then it's time to stop and reflect for sure. 🤘 Stay stoked bro!

It technically is another job. Our only reward is the thumbs up the views and the shares we may be blessed with . Almost becomes a thankless job.

If you’re funded and backed by real companies that financially support you. You can make it in any of the kayak tournaments. I totally understand and agree with you also. Family is priorities. I’m actually shocked myself my very last video I released was just me and a good friend having a day of fun fishing. I really didn’t try to over promote or over produce it like I like to. And the support and views speaks for itself. In all honesty everybody would love to make in this little industry. It’s a fun sport with plenty of passionate and respectful people. I think we as content creators have more strength then we give ourselves to point this fun sport. Well hope to see more content you have time to produce them. Tight lines Dom.

I wondered what happened to you and I'm glad to see you're okay, all things considered. I'm not a tournament angler, but I know how addicting bass fishing is for me. The tug is definitely the drug and I know most of us who love bass fishing, wish we could do it all day, every day. Unfortunately, few get to do that. I'm thankful anytime I get to fish. I look forward to all your content. I know it will be worth the wait.

I get where you are coming from. That's why I don't start. Either do it well or don't, but I did not let the Tube tell me this. I just knew how it should be. I will never do it if I don't have a cameraman. That's what is holding me back.

You got hooked on the drug of fishing tournaments. You realized the money your putting in is no worth the winning prize and the time you put into it.
@DominicDoanFishing10 ай бұрын
It’s a heavy price to market a social image on those platforms. To win (which is nearly impossible to predict) takes so much work.

@@DominicDoanFishing I said it's all luck. That's why I have devised my own contest; first fish, big fish, and most fish, but the contract is based off certain lures/techniques. It's very specified and unique in each one. That's real contest....that's where true skills lie. Anyways, I told many people that tournament fishing is just trying to see who gets lucky bc everyone is skilled with boats and electronics. For the most part, you'll lose more than you make. People seem to have a hard time understanding. They always want me to prove myself in these tourneys. I always tell them to come sign the contract. They never do. Lol. Truth is tournament fishing ain't what it's made out to be. Titles mean nothing. They can get schooled by ordinary folks, esp on shore.
