Cindy why don’t you mount the bottle scorer/marker on a table. It will make it much easier to work the bottles on a stable surface

When making bottle bricks we used to have the blade run through a pan of water to keep it cool and lubricated,that way the bottles get a clean cut and all the splinters get caught in the run off.

I do the same and have water under the blade.

Morning, we always enjoy watching your vlog_blogs. You work so hard, so a couple of tips to help you out, your bottle scorer, you should mount it to a table which will make your life easier, also those fence posts for the pigs are not suitable, they need at least 3inch posts, perhaps get an auger for the ground, or a fence contractor, also electric fence on the inside running on bull wire, pigs are houdinis,

@@CindyVine they die in the sun here and are a very temporary solution - when I tried using them my builder made me cut them and replace them with wire. You don't want tobedoing the same mends every year.

@@solarlifeportugal657 they make different grades I've always used UV exterior version 😉
@solarlifeportugal6574 ай бұрын
@@rikkiross8087 The UV resistant versions still only seem to last 18 months at most when in direct sunlight. For me it is just if I do a job I want to do it once in my lifetime - like using metal posts rather than wooden ones - that depends on your budget and how often you like going back to the same job. I do think wire lasts longer than any cable tie I have come across including the exterior ones but I am aware that I am ignorant and always learning.
