Love this for you! I definitely made a big dent in my shelves a bit ago because I wanted more space and less of just hanging onto books. I still keep ones I love, but if they sit on my shelves untouched for years and I can’t see myself reading or rereading them, I don’t feel the need to own them. And if I change my mind, my library has most of them. Just so much nicer to unload a bunch of books I feel don’t need to take up space in my life anymore. 👏🏻

Yesss on the “there are other fairytale-sequences things to do”…the world is so rich with mythologies and folklore! Would love to see something new get the spotlight.

The Adventure Zone was my introduction to D&D podcasts. I think I like the graphic novels just because I am already familiar with and really really love the story. I'd recommend the podcast even if the books don't click with you!

Inspiring unhaul, really. (Gorgeous covers are hard on us shallow aesthetes.) Also, FOMO is real.

The Brilliant Death is actually amazing and it has a gender fluid character whose magic let's them transform their appearance into anything they wish. It's really not a stereotypical YA fantasy.

I did that last year. I also was able to consolidate all of the free floating books that were all over my house and I cataloged all of them and I've been keeping up with keeping that list.

I read The Glass Castle in college and it was fantastic. However, I think if you’ve read a torn family with a deep child it’s nothing incredibly unique. Had I not had to read it I wouldn’t, but it’s still a 5 star. 😊

I remember reading and loving the Poe Shadow back when I was like 20ish, when I was quite pretentious 😂I've reread some books from back then and wow. I'm glad I got out of that lol

I've actually dnfed The Kiss Quotient multiple times but found the writing style different and much better in The Heart Principle. I don't know if you've unhauled these books already but you may want to give that book a chance.

The Bronze Horseman is actually really good, it’s a love story between a Russian girl and a Russian soldier during the Leningrad siege. The trilogy is chonky though, I haven’t gotten through the third one yet and it’s been years 😬

I love Natasha Preston’s YA thrillers but I will also be the first to admit that they are not literary masterpieces. They are a silly goofy time and quick reads. They’re a nice brain cleanser

I also LOOVE Zodiac Starforce and I'm pretty sure they were getting sued by a nobody ''serial suer'' who sued everyone and everythnig that had Zodiac in it... I think that killed the author's mojo to continue that serie unfortunatly 😭
