Theme from Hardcastle and McCormick. (Drive)
Always loved this show and theme, but wanted it to be a proper song (about 4 minutes long), however to my knowledge none exists. So I took it upon myself to use the existing audio from the opening and closing themes and put together what I think that 4 minute song may have been like.
(I don't know of any "clean" (no sound F/X) theme for this show, so the gunfire, engine noises, and tyre squeal are all in there)
I used almost all of the opening theme, cut the closing theme (where it would have repeated the second verse), then inserted the instrumental from the pilot closing episode, as a sort of musical bridge, before going back to the closing theme for the ending.
Hope you enjoy it.
I own nothing in this video, all rights to their respective owners.
Thanks to Stephen J. Cannell and Patrick Hasburgh for creating the series, and thanks to Mike Post and Stephen Geyer for writing the theme and David Morgan for singing it.
IDOL MERLIN (whoever these bloody chancers are) own nothing in this video and despite repeated attempts by myself to contact them, they have yet to respond. So let me just say, the music in this video is owned by Sony Entertainment and not the bunch of halfwit scumbags that have laid a claim to it below. The images in the video belong to Sony Entertainment and VEI (the kind people who distributed the series on region 1 DVD - which I bought). To the best of my knowledge the writer of this music was Mike Post and Stephen Geyer, and it was sung by David Morgan.
