As a guy who used to work at retail and know the importance of customer service. Les is absolutely right when it comes down to retaining and getting new customers is the fact that the way employees interact with customers is what customers go for. I had more fun working when I befriend a customer and interact with them when they happen to shop because it's like catching up with somebody you haven't seen in awhile. Customers appreciate at the fact that they are treated more than a customer :)
