I'm so happy you made this video. One Step Closer is a band I've heard of several times, but never took the time to check out. This is almost certainly going to be in my top 10 albums this year, I was blown away.

These guys are absolutely amazing. I was at the release show for All You Embrace and I’m beyond hyped to see them getting more buzz. This is a group that totally deserves to get massive

Seriously amazing album. I got to see OSC play to a room of like 50-60 people in July which was super cool, and getting to briefly talk to Ryan after their set and seeing how chill he was made me feel a deeper connection to their stuff. Stoked to see them keep growing and growing.

I’m stoked to see them get more attention too! It’s so cool to see bands in that tiny setting, I bet that show was rad

Good recommendation and I am not surprised Jon Markson worked on this, but am pleasantly surprised he also played some additional parts for the album

Thanks for the recommendation, the band sounds great! The whole album is good; It sounds classic yet modern and the production is top notch. The standout track for me is Esruc, intro is very unique and catchy and then it drops smoothly into dense waves of rhythmic distortion. Adding the vocals it really reminds me of At The Drive, with pop-punk aethestic shrinkwrapped around it. Song of the day for sure, and maybe more

My brother. You’ve gotten me into Trophy Eyes and now this. Bless you, these bands should hire you 😂

You should check out pipe's eat the chicken ep. A tight 4 track ep from an already defunct austin act that really makes some interesting choices. Criminally underappreciated

I"ve heard a couple songs off it and they were all good. I should finally give the whole thing a listen it seems.

Hate to be that “it’s all hardcore” guy but… h20 and civ. I love that we’re at a point where being creative is more important than being a particular thing

This album fucking rules. I LOVED their debut 'This Place You Know', it is one of my favourites in the genre ever.. but man this album is even better somehow. Not a day has gone by since it dropped that I haven't listened to it in full.

Great video! If you are looking for more melodic hardcore I can’t recommend the debut LP from Stand Still titled “Steps Ascending” released on DAZE records as well as the return EP from hardcore legends Stretch Arm Strong “The Revealing” on Iodine Recordings! Love the channel!

This album was an amazing listen, but Speed's debut record still holds the title of best hardcore album of the year for me.

Simply listening to the intro without anything else, I was like "Drug Church didn't put out an album yet this year, did they???"
