You also missed one of the other factors of hardcore: Because most guns are a one shot kill or at most 2, it equalizes the playing field and you can have success with almost any gun. While there are of course standouts (like the Krig or any of the semi auto pistols), it never feels "bad" to be off meta in hardcore. So you end up seeing a lot more different guns, and can have your own fun using guns that are in other modes "sub par"

Been a HC player since OG CoD4. It frees you from the "meta" nonsense, frees you from bunny-hoppers, frees you from grenade spam, and removes all the crutches CoD has conditioned players to lean on. See first, aim first, hit first = win. Use your eyes to spot enemies instead of relying on red text. As it should be.

I prefer hardcore as well. Huge negatives is that things like playing carefully, headglitching and preaiming are just too strong in this mode. But when you get into good lobbies where everyone is running around, man it's so much fun! Like you said, if people are running around, the quicker player wins. No recoil cheats have taken over shooters but hardcore mode nullifies it pretty well. Games like Apex is almost unplayable now for the few people out there that don't cheat.

Thing is that in older CODs with faster sub 200ms TTKs, that's almost what core game modes felt like. Think BO1 FAMAS and AK74U for example. TTKs are way too slow now in my opinion and that's why I'm enjoying hardcore rn.

Agreed! This is now my preferred way to play. Between the hit registration seemingly getting worse after engaging in fights, tracking overall being harder, and the movement evolutions, hardcore just feels like the best way to play. I would still like a kill cam but the rest can stay

My only issue with hardcore is that it can get a bit campy. Other than that, it's great. I've always loved that you have to earn a UAV and you can help your team out by shooting it down.

So much yes. Hardcore in this game actually has brought me back to playing this year. Doing the camo grind and actually enjoying leveling, for the most part people play these maps with mobility in mind which in tandem with hardcore leveling the playing field is making things enjoyable.

Hardcore back in BO1 & BO2 was the best. So many fond memories. I have been watching this channel for a long time and always wondered why not more KZbinrs played and showed HC gameplay . Although hard disagree about stims not being very useful in hardcore. Since there's no health regen, stims are currently the ONLY way to regen ANY of your health in a single life, making them INCREDIBLY useful. I'd literally only use stims, and would've even already used a perma unlock on them, if I weren't interested in getting all of the mastery badges for tacticals. The fact that stims regen without the quartermaster perk is also HUGE in HC. They're the only way to go if you're serious about stacking up streaks or going for a nuke

CoD should just have a standalone game where it's HC only. Every challenge, camo grind, scorestreak, etc. leaning towards HC rules and overall flow of said mode. That being said, I find it hard to enjoy HC in CoD since most HC players hold angles 24/7. Want to hop on the B flag? Someone one-shots you from 150m out. Want to use melee weapons? Same time to kill as an LMG with 200 bullets. It just doesn't make sense to me

I'm 99.99% a Hardcore TDM player, but then there's those mqtches when you get thrown against campers sitting in dipshit cheese angles and pick you off in one shot. But, i always still prefer it over Core.

Been a hardcore fan for years, pretty much exclusively play hardcore. It alleviates a lot of issues and things people complain about when playing core. Its not the same three guns being used because all guns kill much faster. Its about who saw who first, and less so about who has a better gun.

Watching this gameplay reminds me of 2009 MW2. The fast time to kill seems almost comparable and I miss the fast time to kill honestly. I used to kill snipers on the famous Afghan spot from all the way on the other side of the map with Stopping power and my RPD.

Hardcore is easily the most enjoyable game type in all of cod. I've played hardcore since WAW and it's not because I can't compete on core it's because it's just more fun. The balance in gameplay it brings is just better e.g. in MW2(2009) the quick scoping pandemic on core you get 3/4 hits in and get hit with an intervention and lose the gun fight. Go to hardcore then you have the same 1 hit potential as the snipers did.

Honestly, my biggest problem with blops 6 is the scud UAV breaking ghost right now. If you have vigilance on, you'll see you're almost always on the enemy radar after the first two minutes, especially when you're carrying negative KDR players in Domination. I think I'm gonna take a break away from blops 6 and play MW3 instead.

HC has been my main since MW2019. It makes the game a lot more enjoyable. Every gun is viable, so you can use whatever you want, try any build you want; meta is not that meaningful.

Ahh driftor you have finally realized hardcore is for the older adult gamers. Where we don't care about the meta weapons or what ever booty sliding mechanic sweats will abuse in every release of cod to get a slight edge in gunfights. There are no gunfights like that in hardcore and if they try it they will probably lose most gunfights. I appreciate the simplicity of hardcore where I pick a gun, usually a gun I like and a lethal grenade and I have the same opportunity to be on top of the leaderboard as anyone else in the lobby.

For me it's the ability to win a 1v3 gunfight. In core if it's not an even 1v1 gunfight chances are you're gonna lose. I always find myself soloing the entire enemy since SBM forces me to carry all the time l, so in HC it's much easier to take on multiple people and still come up on top of you.

Something I can tell I don't like by the footage though, hardcore doesn't seem to turn off the crosshair and hud elements for more immersion, I don't like that I prefer minimalist info displayed, less clutter. This looks too cluttered to me compared to OG hardcore. I am biased cause i love the more milsim ish feel of MW2019 especially it's realism mode and NVG night maps.

Been playing hc since cod4mw. Love HC S&D. Currently not a fan of bo6 hc. Open NAT gig internet on netduma r2 router also tested on 2 other routers. Cod port forwarding setup. Same result. I avg 3 to 4 hitmarkers per kill in hc. This is HC why is my ak getting 4 hit markers on the enemy head? Thinking this issue might be transmission issue on my isp side. Or conspiracy thinking. I've been nerfed 😂
