Idea.. I see that your engine exhaust comes down nicely just I. Front of where your custom metal "side skirts". How about using flexhose from exuasht and run the exuaghst thru the rectangle tube side skirts to the back..

Can you use your roll bar for your air tank? I don’t know if it’s possible but if you can that would be awesome. If not I seen where they have used their bumper with a round tube the length of the bumper. Just idea I was thinking about. Thanks for listening to the thought.
@HardCoreFab8 күн бұрын

Make your front or rear bumper or 3ven part of your frame the air receiver tank.

I know your emphasis is on making this a Jeep that can be lowered, but this same thing done at conventional height would still be a good build. Putting a brake booster down underneath will be a challenge.

I have an idea for the air tank. Build one to hang in front of the grill like the Mooneyes old school fuel tank.
@HardCoreFab8 күн бұрын

Hydro boost instead of vacuum booster may be more compact.
@HardCoreFab9 күн бұрын
I looked at that too but couldn't find a power steering pump
@Buickluvr8 күн бұрын
Race cars don't use brake boosters. They use properly sized master cylinders and pedal ratio. Call Baer or Wilwood, they'll tell you. Save room and that hot rod motor might not create enuff vacuum with only a 7 inch booster. I'm sure you know this, but others don't and you asked for comments. (race car handling? with knobby tires? oughta slide real nice... until it catches and rolls... ) Aren't you glad there's "know-it-alls- like me? Gives you something to moan about... Gives me something interesting to watch... Thanx! Hope Julie is doing well!
