This is like the fourth long term, “like family” employee that has stolen considerable amounts from them… Something tells me they don’t treat their employees as great as they think. 🤔

Not sugarcoating anything. What she did and what all the other thieving employees did was incredibly wrong. A business of that size would statistically only have about one or ongoing employee thefts in that time frame however and they have at least double that average. Makes you wonder what’s going on behind the scenes.

@@crazycraig4841omg another idiot who thinks a store that’s been running and full of customers for 30 years is all staged for a short term tv show. We can see the fake parts Craig, but if you do a little research Jo the security guard and Christina were both arrested and charged and went to court. Btw the store is still running today and has a bunch of other locations. But it’s all fake, right 😅

Many people still compare Christina's situation with Tressa's and wonder why Tressa was allowed to walk away without even seriously confronting her about what she did while Christina was arrested on the spot. However, they are nothing alike. What Tressa did was not legally wrong, as store rules allow employees to buy items for themselves or for other people. What she did, however, was totally morally wrong as she couldn't just do it without asking somebody about it. But, it was not legally wrong, as she didn't steal anything from them in the end which was proven in an later episode she appeared in. What Christina did, on the other hand, is a crime, as she took big amounts of money using counterfeit items. Trading counterfeit items itself is illegal by law. Pawning is by law considered a form of trading as it involves giving up something and receiving money in return.

There is no way Christina could have pulled something like this off by herself. She was obviously scared to name her accomplice or accomplices, obviously at least one of them probably holding higher position in the shop. There is no way in 21st century, with computers and all of the modern technology, that nobody noticed anything for over an year just because she was extending her loans every month and got discovered only because she missed her deadline once. It is obvious by her behaviour that she was scared to death by someone in the shop and thus refused to name anybody and purposely got herself into trouble. If she just named one person who was behind it all, Les would let her go for sure as she was just a pawn in whole operation and firing her would be good enough punishment for her. Les wanted the bigger fish who was behind it all.

Next day I would have bailed her out and let her free but to never set her foot on the business..In the end, we are all people trying to take care of our family but with honesty..
