Its a reference to Don Quijote de la mancha, a tale in which a man who reads too many romance novels becomes a knight (way past the era of knights) and crusades around. In the part killian references he confuses windmills with giants and tried to attack them. He loses. At one point he also sees a lady in a coach being escorted by people and challenges them to a duel, thinking she is a princess being captured. I was probably off on a couple things but it's funny and easily available online if you wanr to give it a read
