@@arcticbeakf5 f6 Rg7+ f7# Certainly not very easy to see but was able to find it as a sub 1k in 20ish seconds, and it is fairly intuitive to stumble into and completely unstoppable.

@@florianb2856 Advanced players set up positions that increase the chance for opponents to destroy themselves. Not everyone would think of setting up double-discovered bishops lined up with enemy Queen+King

This was one of my favorite challenges. It was hard, but there were no dumb rules or misinterpretations and you could just play your best for the most part

Well the challenge didn't say he had to *immediately* return his pieces, so he could have taken the pawn, then returned all three pieces to the start. But close enough.

@@moderndayvampire1469 I'm just wondering why 2000 rated opponents aren't in the game with this so we can actually see what kind of brilliancy he can pull off. Like winning a 2000(somewhere I am at) rated with a bishop handicapped that was given on purpose by a tactic or sacrifice for a pawn. And second, you have any idea how low 100 rated is? Most people that play chess aren't that terrible and there's no such thing as "For their rating". They played bad, end of story. I would beat this guy without a sweat even if he had an extra bishop for a pawn, or maybe two.

@@oanhienlong7264 He played with queen disadvantage and not just extra bishop or pawn for his opponent, it's still fun to watch, you could have watched normal GM vs GM match for your tastes, and he's better than his viewers.

This was basically two challenges in one: a forced retreat, and checkmate with a pawn. Either of these by themselves is very difficult. Definitely one of the hardest challenges, if not the hardest challenge ever.

Gotham chess is rated around 2700 elo, and Chess simp is better than his viewers. So if Gotham chess ever viewed this video vhess simps elo would have to be at least 2800

Gonna agree with the other people, you accomplished that challenge by going from 20 points down to an inevitable checkmate with a pawn that didn't happen due to resignation. Great job dude.

I've suggested a challenge to allow the opponent a 15 point advantage but I would've expected 21 to be too much.

An opponent of mine once managed to stalemate himself while having all his 16 pieces still alive. I think to repeat this masterful blunder sounds like the right challenge for you!

You didn't have to stop everything to retreat. All you had to do was have all your pieces back at some point before you deliver checkmate. Nothing stoped you from taking the rogue black pawn with the bishop and only then putting everything back in their places

Exactly. There was a time I won a queen early on. Then my opponent complicated the position, pressured my queen, I kept sacrificing smaller pieces to save my queen. But then inevitably lost my queen (and the game), I was so crushed. And that was 1 queen. Imagine having that happen to 2 queens. EDIT: also, fyi my opponent wasn't a smurf, because we rematched and I won without him even blundering a queen

Chess, but it’s Danganronpa. If any of your pieces (not pawn) see another piece (not pawn) capture another piece (not pawn), you must immediately blunder/sacrifice (execute) the piece (not pawn) that did the capturing. If the opponent doesn’t take, the video ends.

I'd say that if you could find a forced checkmate with a pawn from that position (should be possible but I haven't checked) and you say the line in the video to prove you found it then a resegnation counts and a victory too

I have an idea: 100 rated chess, but it’s pride month. A random number (1-8on a random number generator) of your pawns must change gender(become a queen) and after move 10, none of your opponents male pieces can touch the queen. If any of your pawns die, the video ends.
