Playing off this challenge idea... Chess, but it costs 1 Material Point to move a piece (not pawn). Pawns move for free. The Queen costs 2 points. If your opponent takes a pawn or piece, you lose 1 point (you can't go negative). *_(Feel free to steal this idea if it's interesting!)_*
@SioxerNikita Жыл бұрын
If you really wanna do this. Make it simple. Pawns move for free. Pieces cost 1 Point to move. You gain points equal to the material value of any piece (or pawn) you take. The losing points is just, meh... This makes it so only pawns can move until at minimum a pawn is taken, and only really a Queen or Rook gives a lot of movement opportunity. Being able to move a piece twice is not a lot, so the losing points just makes it unnecessarily severe to even sacrifice pawns.
@Galiaverse Жыл бұрын
@@SioxerNikita "You gain points equal to the material value of any piece (or pawn) you take." Well, yeah. That went without saying. I still prefer the challenge of avoiding losing pieces, so "If the opponent takes a piece (not pawn), you lose 1 point." Now pawn sacrifices are fine.
