Hardest Class in Nursing School?

What is the hardest class you'll have to take in nursing school? Well, that depends on a lot of factors, such as your program, teacher, etc.
However, for me, I'd have to say that pathophysiology was the hardest class I had to take in nursing school. We had to cover a TON of material in a very short time.
The good news is that I learned how to study better, and it prepared me for the other tough nursing school classes I was about to take. Today, I actually LOVE learning and teaching patho!

Pharm; I found Pathology & Pathophysiology very interesting and deep. Pharmacology was mainly all memorization, a lot less to "understand" about the relationships between the names of drugs and their use (aside from the Cardiac Rx)

I found studying 2 hours every other day will help with nursing classes. Cramming tends to not work cause u need to actually understand not just memorize

Pharmacology. I enjoyed patho and it made sense to me. But pharmacology just felt like straight memorization.

I went to coding school and already had more A&P than you can imagine due my Cell Biology degree. Pathophysiology was my favorite as it brings everything together. Pharmacology was my hardest class as i have dyslexia and mix up numbers so i have to do all my calculations twice to check for errors.

Pharm was we had more homework than class credit hours. Edapt had 154 modules to cover in an 8 week period. It was ridiculous.

Med Surge of any kind is awful. It encompasses patho, pharm, diagnostics/labs, nursing diagnoses, patient teaching, etc. needless to say, it’s too much information for anyone to take in with the small amount of time you have to learn it.
