Great round guys ! I have been playing the black course for past 30 yrs. My best round is 76. This course and Oakmont are the toughest courses in US. Cant wait for the Ryder Cup next year.

My friend took me to play a round there a while back. I'd been playing for just about 2 years. Suffice it to say I wasn't prepared in the least to tackle the course. I stopped counting after I hit 100 on the 15th. Brutal. 😅

Tee to green, toughest course I've ever played. I was really blessed to grow up near that property. Camera will never show how insane some of those elevations are. #15 is still the toughest hole I've ever played.

Great VLOG 👍🏻 on a tough course. But, question: How do you HOLD YOUR FINISH? … yet swing so hard? I know to swing under control one needs to hold their finish. I just find it really difficult to do. … a future video, perhaps 🤔 Thanks, Jonathan 🙏🏻

Every golf you tuber is dull. You either get an awesome golfer that’s no banter or a shite golfer that’s funny /engaging. It’s the curse. Can’t have both. Golfers are apparently just a bit dull. That’s what it takes to play under 75 consistently 😢 Love to watch BPB or A Royal Troon with someone making me laugh through the video.

Did you play lift clean and place in the rough? Having played this course many times there is no way every shot in the rough was sitting up with the full ball visible.
@JKMGolf4 ай бұрын
Haha the ball was sitting a lot worse than it looked
@iec75874 ай бұрын
I noticed that as well same with Grant. There is no way the ball sits up like that in the rough there I hit a PW or 9 when it is in rough, cannot get a 5/6 on it.
@murphaa95643 ай бұрын
When I played i think I had 1 ball sitting up in the rough... rest sunk to the bottom like a rock in a pond....I nearly sprained my ankles stepping on all the lost balls hiding in the rough! Think we all ended up with a few dozen found balls just off the fairways!

When I played the black course the rough was at least 6 inches deep. Any time you missed the fairway you could not find the ball. Drop and hack out every time.

A lot of the difficulty has to do with the elevation changes from fairway to green, the overall distances and how insanely thick the rough can be (usually is). It a lot tighter of a course than it looks from a youtube video
@JKMGolf4 ай бұрын
It’s looks alot more sloped in-person for sure

Wym bro within the first 11 minutes the caddy gave him perfect reads that he didn’t have. On 8 (par 3) the caddy said it broke less than he thought and he made it to save par. Then immediately on 9 caddy gave him a read on a long putt that he drained for birdie.
