@@geoDB. Axe's facet gives him str from armor, and blaidmail helps him get kills to scale his str and get tanky. If you snowball with blaidmail it is great scaling

It is situational, Axe naturally has good armour but hard-core lacks health due to his low strength gains for a strength heroes and rushing blademail eats too much tempo. You absolutely need blink dagger and should be getting it as your first big purchase. It also depends on what Facet you pick
