That is a great and fun idea with that wah part. Lovely suggestion, I took a note on this ;)
@samwinn2774 Жыл бұрын
He uses a wah on the leads which some of the lead parts are dubs playing the root/bass notes of each power chord in the chromatic descending riff but just an octave higher, and the other lead parts, the actual solo/shred and crazy slayer esc whammy bar fit parts he uses a talkbox and a light phaser/univibe for some parts and JUST a wah on some and a wah and a talk box on some leads... it's hard to tell if it's a wah or a talk box on a few parts because he had the cry baby rack unit which allows you to shape and adjust frequency range of the Q of the wah filter sweep any way you want so if you tweak the settings on it you can really get some unusual vowel like boarder line talk box sounding tones but he definitely used that cry baby wah rack and a talk box at the same time on the leads on the into and on the rhythm guitar tracks on the key changing bridge riff.. on the Rhythm guitar dubs he uses the talk box too while playing the lower 5ths under the root notes of each power chord on the Low E string of the same fret and it sounds like he did another rhythm guitar dub with the talk box and a phaser or a univibe but an octave higher then the main rhythm track.. he definitely used the crybaby wah rack paired with a talk box and a phaser/univibe on the solos at the end of the bridge when it changes back to E you can hear all 3 effects stand out really well on that unison bend he starts out one of the solos with I'm pretty sure it's a univibe not a phaser but it could be both but I know for sure that it is a talkbox that he's uses for the majority of the effects for both the leads and rhythm tracks and dubs you can hear him say something into the talkbox right before the down beat of the main verse riff like "oh my god" and he does it again in the next pause before the 2nd verse riff and he does it on the bridge and at the very end of the song in between the punches at the very end and while the big dive bomb on the last hit he does it a few times like whispers into the talk box saying like "my fear grips me" and shit like that

I just started learning guitar few days ago, and this looks soooo intimidating. Pantera is my ultimate favorite band ever, so I want to learn how to play their songs. Although my strumming is pretty good for a beginner, but my problem is the left hand. Is extremely hard to put the fingers in the right place fast enough, and memorize where to put them at. It will taken me tons of practice to reach this level of mastery. 🥲 I wish it was all strumming, cuz that’s my forte. 😬🤘🔥
