In case of missing content or ciritcal information, I will post this comment for ya'll to see - I WAS WRONG ON GETTING DIVINE FIST IN 5DR. THERE IS A SEPERATE UNLOCK I CONFUSED WITH DIVINE FIST WHICH IS THE FIST IN THE BACKGROUND, which changes up to 3 dark lords - For Divine fist, be dark lord, and complete all of the challenges (Gold rush, time attack, survival) in each Dojo - For 8, it is obviously not confirmed that fight pass and limited event items will not be permanitly removed, but considering they are tied to specific promotions. There is a high chance they will not. - Not tested but finishing story mode with all characters can unlock star blade mode but I haven't tested this yet - I do not own a PlayStation, but the DLC was free for tag 2 from what I’ve been told. - shin akuma is also a boss in t7 treasure battle and looks similar to akuma

Yeah you got Tekken Tag 2 wrong as well. The dlc characters were Free DLC, not Paid DLC. They were released over time.

Hey, great video! Just wanted to say that Tekken 5 DR actually does have unlocks tied to what ranks you are. The background menu will change based upon how many characters you get to "Tekken Lord," I believe. 1x is Jins glove, 2x is devil Jins glove, and 3x will be Jinpachi!

Wow extremly interesting. But are you reffering to the "Dark Lord" rank? Cause I believe Tekken Lord is the max in vanilla 5 but I do not have the PS3 version of DR

@WASHED_UP_NPC I think it's the Tekken Lord rank, but I should've specified that the background only changes on the psp version. I can't speak on the ps3 version as I haven't played that one as much. You can view the images online from other people archiving it! That way, you don't have to grind THOUSANDS of matches! 😄

It’s easy to get money in Tekken 6 What you need to do is in scenario campaign mode: wear the Meta customisation items that give you extra money & play on hard mode on Mokujin’s stage because that stage has the most money, especially when you are wearing a Meta custom money item Everyone hated Scenario Campaign mode but I had so much fun playing that mode especially with the Meta items like extra damage, extra health, & freeze mode. I miss T6 man 😢 I just wish that the devs didn’t ruin T6 ghost battle by not allowing you to go past 3rd dan Luckily the fixed that dumb decision in Tag 2

Oddly enough you could go past 3rd dan on the PSP version. Also look up Sadamitsu, they had an extensive CWCheat database that let you remap just frame moves to other moves. Wanna do EWGFs with just d/f+2? Check out how.

You can also play the coop version where you get a lot of money and clothes with really good grades

PS3HD version of DR doesn't have character endings besides for the new characters that were in DR only (Armor King, Lili, Dragunov). You can also unlock some official artworks and some concept art, but those are all easy to purchase with in-game money. PSP version is more of a console experience than PS3 version if you don't play online. I got Divine Fist with just ranking Asuka up, no need for other characters. At least on my end. Tag 2 DLC characters were free, by the way. Probably another reason the game was considered a failure.

I have something to add onto the Tag 2 section. If you play around 2000 matches you unlock EVERYTHING. There are videos by a guy named BigBangBlitz here on youtube and he covers that in the 2 videos related to the topic. He also provides fully unlocked saves in case you wanna look through what the game has.

Few things i need to say 1. Unlocking Devil Jin isn’t that hard, just finish story mode 22 time. Getting all the extra coustumes is much harder because tekken 5 is not easy by getting money. 2. Tekken 5 Dark Ressuraction on PS3 is still available on the PlayStation Store. It’s not delisted. The only thing you forgot to mention is gallery mode and online mode plus survival mode are DLC (DR Online is a DLC for DR PS3). 3. Tag 2 didn’t have characters ad paid DLC, they been free via updates (i think only the ps3 characters update is delisted because sony did a dirty move in 2021). 4. Didn’t knew about Tekken 7, now i want to play 7 to see it.

Getting max rank and beating heihachi and everything els in ghost battle is super easy with alisa (offline) The moment the fight starts, back away and start spamming her arm rockets! till this day the ghost ai STILL dont know how to dodge it! free PERFECTS all day!

In T7 treasure there was Akuma boss too who was insufferable to beat. Best way to get achievement related to him was getting his secret boss fight at the end of arcade

Tekken 6 had a secret stage with a floor break section that had Gold Mokujins to farm, which helped a lot.

What I gathered from these 2 videos is that you REALLY, and I mean really don't like side modes (which personally I wish we had more of nowadays bc fighting games really have nothing if you're not playing with someone)

U can unlock starblade by finishing story mode with all characters. Dont have to suffer with devil within.

You don’t need to finish with everyone. 22 characters is enough in story mode and maybr 3 ghost battles in arcade mode after this. This actually 200 matches in the game.

21:05 They were not paid DLC. They were added for free with an update. Also, emulating T5DR on PS3 would be piracy as you can still buy it on the PS3's PSN store.
