Fr people say logic is corny because he didn't conform to the mainstream like every other underground artist when they get big. Like G-Eazy. Nobody calls his ass corny because he started rapping about the fame and shit. Logic is only considered corny because he's still the same person.
@krazyangulo9 жыл бұрын
g eazy is good af. his new album is deep. he talks about the ego and how he got so full of him self and realized so much when he became famous.
@ScorpnXL269 жыл бұрын
+Luis Angulo boy the only reason you say that is because me, myself, and I. His album sounds like a generic piece boasting about himself. He explains the album in an interview but the explanation isn't the album at all.
@krazyangulo9 жыл бұрын
+Nzime im guessing you havent heard sad boy? and the songs that he talks about wanting things and wanting that life is him being reall about how he used to see the life. i will admit theres some songs that give it a bit of a mainstream feel but if you think about it being in his perspective of life you gotta really realize what goes throught their minds. were all humans and he trys his best to be creative and i totally see him being himself in his music, spilling out his feelings and trying but living in his footsteps all you get is criticized. he's a little bigger than logic. so when logic gets on that level its gunna get harder for him to be himself in his music. thats why logic trys his best to stay away from all the bs . you gotta really see where these artists are coming from. naw i havent seen g eazys interview ill look into that though.
@ScorpnXL269 жыл бұрын
+Luis Angulo pretty sure logic is at the same level. I'm not a huge fan of either but logic was up there before G was. G just has the mainstream fan base because he switched to that sound. All these white girls swarmed after these things happen and he blew up. Logic did over 100k sales first week. Pretty sure he's on that level just without the followers on his social media.

The problem is that he does care. I feel like he tries to hard to act like he doesn’t - he contradicts himself in SO many interviews! It’s actually frustrating. I do like him a lot, he just goes on super manic seeming rants where he’s ALL over the place. It just does not age well, to be so grandiose or overly excited to proclaim a certain belief. Then, contradict yourself. A LOT.

"I believe everyone's name is gonna fade, eventually. No matter what you do man. Look at Steve jobs, my man changed the world. Bill gates, these people fuckin changed the world. Like THE WORLD, computers and everything. Their names will be forgotten man, you know what I mean? I know it's debatable but I believe it, you know, like who really Invented the light bulb? I'm just accepting the fact that one day it's gonna be the last time someone says my name. Or the last book with my name on the page and it's gonna get burned down or something. So no matter what I do for this world, and I do everything for it, I'm making sure I do something for me, before I die. That's all, give and help others throughout your life, but make sure you do something for yourself. Something for you." Man logic is so well spoken, I aspire to have a perspective like him one day. I'm a fan of Logic. I have both of his albums and the Sinatra mixtape on my iPhone. Just cracks me up when he says things he does and what other people do/did is "totally different" lol. Like the Deltron thing with his latest album or his comparisons to Kendrick, Cole, and Drake. It's obvious lol. But that's okay...accept that and make it better. Writers, actors, artists (especially actual painters etc) take clear inspiration from others but make it better and make it their own. But they don't deny their influence and direction that they received from others. It's not shameful to admit that. Logic should.
@kaizenFPS9 жыл бұрын
Did you even listen to the interview? He said he heard it after the script and concept was already written. And in almost every interview he does where people bring up influences he doesn't deny any of that. Clearly not a true fan my dude.
@grant-nagy9 жыл бұрын
+r0mediddy He says that he hadn't even heard the Deltron thing until after the script was written, in this video you commented on. And if you watch his latest interview with Charlamagne he says that he was inspired by Kanye and others and he says exactly what you said that he isn't afraid to deny their influence and isn't afraid to be inspired by it. Almost word to word to what you said he doesn't do. Should check it out, maybe it'll change your mind.
@f8c3themusic9 жыл бұрын
+Scobafy Yes I heard that part. But once they acknowledged it, he said it was "totally different" when it's not. Again, nothing wrong with emulating a style or project. Logic is dope in his own right.
@f8c3themusic9 жыл бұрын
+Deviate I got ya. But specifically, the Drake, Kendrick, and Cole references. He kind of glossed over it when Char for example said that he basically sounded like Kendrick. When in fact that's the truth. Again, I'm definitely a fan. But it's like if Jay-Z were to say he was influenced by Jaz-O but is "totally different". Back then, he was almost a carbon copy of him until after Reasonable Doubt when he slowed his flow down etc.
