He used to go on podcasts pretty regularly for the first 7 or 8 years of his podcast (starting in 2009), mostly people part of the Deathsquad family, I.e., friends like D Trussel, Joey Diaz, YMH. It’s not his fault that lame people just discovered podcasts 5 years ago or so. The main reason, other than that he doesn’t need to promote anything, is what exactly happened here: Joe takes over the show and it basically becomes a JRE with Andrew and Crew, not the other way around. What you’re probably reacting to is the no headphones, which allows them to talk over each other and get quips out faster. JRE is one speaker at a time and spaced out because they are listening on headphones.

true story. my mom's cousin is a marine biologist that studied in the arctic throughout the 70's and 80s. He was attacked by a polar bear in the early 80s and was bitten on his back and head and was being dragged off by the bear with his head in the polar bear's mouth. a member of his team was able to shoot the bear and kill it. they had to carry him miles back to their base camp and (where they had a medic) and then wait for an air lift which took three days before they were able to get him to a hospital in northern Canada. he lived to tell the tale and now gladly shows off the teeth mark scars surrounding his head (mostly on the sides and down his jaw). He is one of the best story tellers I have ever encountered and to this day I remember sitting around a camp fire at their house in Nova Scotia as a child listening to his 2 hour long account of the attack and aftermath. He was a true adventurer and it is just one of his interesting stories. He also brews a great beer and is one of the kindest people. thought it might interest people!

Sometimes, Joe Rogan makes me want to cry. He says things sometimes that really just makes so much sense. People give him shit, but the way he talks about how he grew, how he changed, his mindsets that evolved, its beautiful. No matter what you think of him, you have to appreciate him for at least something.
@boyerindustries2 жыл бұрын
Real talk, dude cares more about being the best version of a real person who can be an asset to his people, than any of his critics could ever comprehend with their egos in their way. He makes a real effort to be “what you see is what you get”, but with a rare ability to be brutally objective and continuously be less flawed among flawed humans, but not for a bulshitty reason of feeding his ego like most people who strive to be better everyday, he genuinely just wants to be as much an asset to those around him as possible and less of a liability than he may have been yesterday. It’s definitely a highly respectable thing to see because whatever you like or dislike about anyone, how they act or what they say, that unique underlying principle is really all anyone can ask for in a person.

Okay to be real, the anti "mainstream media" stuff has gone too far. If you read the front page of the AP or Reuters, you're actually going to be reasonably informed on most of the big events happening in the world. Do they have biases? Sure (so does Joe, btw). The difference is that they actually invest a lot of time and effort into researching their stories and issuing retractions, and when there are ethical breaches, other organizations will call them on it, unlike alternative media- where the audience is self-selected.

I gotta admit. It's a wild experience getting high and drunk while watching this. It feels like you're right there with them. But eventually the reality strikes and you're watching this on your phone. Jeez. What a sesh. I love stuff like this.

You should try girls. I bet you spend a lot of time pretending to be with them too.

@@evantench6651 What do you know about me? Are you trying to be cool online with a mean comment? Bruh, I live with my girlfriend. I don't need to pretend to be around girls when I live with one. Get a freakin life.

One of the best examples of why Joe Rogan is Joe Rogan and we are not. He flipped this from awkward to decent by calling them out straight away. I'm guessing these guys learned a few things from the legend on this day.

This is great. This podcast is so raw and authentic. Like hanging with the guys. Very chill, filmed almost like a show, but so down to earth. Wholesome.

Joe is on his favourite subject of bears. If I was FORCED ton go to America which Ib couldnt stand as I love Europe. If I had to go neasr grizzlies or gaters I would carry a sawn off. Why don't they?

"He smells meat. THAT polar bears SMELLS THIS MAN'S MEAT" Mark, Alex, and Andrew all simultaneously glance at each other and try real damn hard not to start laughing. My favorite moment.

It was mostly just Andrew giggling. But i thought it was funny too 🤭

@PARA 777⚕️👁️ no we all saw it and it was funny. Just because you're not understanding things doesn't mean everyone is "overanalysing"

Hands down one of the best podcasts ive ever seen. Nothing but laughs, Took me to a happier place when times were simpler, Friends were around, Nobody tied down to work. And to think I witnessed a completely different side of Joe, Wow wow wow 20/10 encore!!!!

Agreed. Also felt kind of felt therapeutic in a way. I just hope this isn't a one-off session. It'd give millions of us something more to look forward to if they can do this once more before the end of the year and again next summer and make it a tradition.
