This is excellent, thank you for creating this vid. The phrase “it’s all estimation” really put things into perspective for me (and likely many others).

The old Facebook video was hard to find and didn't go into as much detail so it's very nice to see have a full-on tutorial 👍

Nice tut mate; I use Chenille Sticks (pipe cleaners) to roughly prototype complex bends. I was surprised that you're not offering to sleeve your D5 pump cables any more. Not too big an issue, I did it myself for one I bought recently for an upcoming build.

Excellent information. I've done 4 builds and have a 5th coming up with a 1st Spectre build 😁 I find tube bending is something you just have to get a feel for over time. I also like the EK acrylic tube.

Did you custom make that 12 pin to double 8 pin cable or did you order it from someone who makes cables by chance? I just got a 3090 FE & i have the same block coming in but cannot find someone who makes or sells cables for Rosewill/Photon power supplies.

yea with my toughest bend so far (down from the gpu in to a tight 90, in to a 45 the the end of the gpu, in to a .... ehr.... 45....ish? (45 degree fitting but rotated 45 degree's to aim it across the motherboard/towards the gpu so....whatever that does to the angle, i just re-heated 1 tube 10 maybe 15 times not intending to use it but making it roughtly the shape it should be (ideally in 3 bends) and make a template off it so i could put my tool on a piece of paper put one end at a line and put the bends in 1 by 1 knowing the final tube will be just about what it needs to be, still took 3 tubes as i needed to tweak the template a bit (had a pretty crooked one for a year... seemed fine from 1 angle :P) though i just cannot do bends as close together as you >.> i need to use the bending tool or it will be so crooked you'd swear i wasn't even trying. and yea i noticed with the in kit debur tool (only recently got one with PETG i used sandpaper, for...PMMA? what ever corsairs frosty tubes are made of got a debur tool....noticeably more blunt on the final tubes :P and yes it did take a amazing amount of tubing to get nice tubes with PETG, was suprisingly easy with PMMA once you get used to heating it 2-3 times longer >.>
