Hardly: negative meaning(>barely) I hardly finished it in time. 제시간에 끝내는 경우 거의 없음 = I almost never finished it in time. = I rarely finished it i time. I hardly finished it. / It's hardly finished. 아직 멀었어. It's far from finished. It's not finished yet. I barely finished it. = I almost couldn't finish it. 못 할 뻔했다. 겨우 끝냈다. She hardly shows up on time. 약속 시간에 맞춰 오는 경우 거의 없음 = almost never shows up on time. She barely shows up on time. 겨우 시간 맞춰 옴(It sounds like you expect her to show up early.) She always shows up at the last minute. She barely showed up on time. 늦을 뻔했다. 겨우 시간 맞춰 옴. = She almost couldn't show up on time. I hardly slept last night. 거의 못 잠. I just watched this lesson quite thoroughly again. I was so impressed by your tip at the end that tells me how I can keep brushing up on the previous vacabulary or expressons. i just realized that's what holds my work on learning English back. Hi teacher, thank you for this video. I hope you have a nice sunday. Actually, I'm tired here. Because I hardly slept last night. I guessed I had a lot of my work to catch up on, so I stayed up all night except olny a nap for half an hour. Thankfully, I barely finished a part of my work. But I still have a lot of catching up to do. I'm gonna try not to fall behind my schedule. Usually, I hardly finished it in time though.

You're a good example of an ideal English teacher whom other English teachers should follow suit. Most English teachers out there just teach English by using our mother tongue all the time. English classes should discourage English teachers from using our mother tongue as rarely as possible.

She always shows up at the last minute. + 양태 저맥락 + 빈도 + 몇분 남기고 온다 = always + at the last minite + 비문 : 겨우 도착한다 = barely show up + on time. 10분 일찍 출근한다는거냐?? 겨우 헐레벌떡 온다는거냐?? (혼동이 된다.) She barely show up on time + 저맥락 + 겨우 도착했다. = barly show up + 빈도 + 몇분 남기고 온다 = always + at the last minite

I hardly take a nap I hardly eat anything whatsoever after dinner That is why i can stay in my shape. I hardly scrub my body at the sauna. It is not that i didnt do it very often, it is just that i have just found myself feeling reluctant doing so since the pendemic for some reason. I have dont know why. I hardly ever swear. Because i just dont stand those who swear loosly. Every time i hear anybody do that, it really gets on my nerves. She and i hardly drink. we only drink at family gatherings where the elders talk us into drinking a bit in a lighthearted way. He hardly gets afarid of anything as long as i have known him. That is one of a few i want to learn from him. Watching shows is hardly exciting for me. I prefer to see bite-sized funny videos. i find that watching longer shows can be hard for me fo keep focusing on over time. I barely slept last night. i lost sleep over glimpse of random things that happened in the past. i mean, regrets and stuff like that. I barely got up this morning. I didnt feel rested very well and my bed was so snuggly it was hard to pull myself out. I barely showed up on time. If i had been late this time again, i would have been chewed out so much. She and I barely finished it. The next thing i know, it was already 2 hours later We barely won by a very small margine. We could have lost if we ever made a small slip-up. Our restaurant was barely profitable last year. i guess we should come up with good gimmicks to get more customers in. I rarely workout. i guess i should start sooner or later. I am not sure when it is going to be though. I rarely feel down. I think i am kind of laid back. i just let things flow and move on and on and on.

제 생각엔 번역 뜻은 비슷해보이지만 barely finished 는 진짜 꾸역꾸역 끝냈다는 거고 managed to finish는 데드라인 같은 거에 맞게 딱 시간 맞춰 끝냈다 라는 식으로 중립적인 느낌. 아닐까요
