With the Brinell hardness test, a carbide ball is pressed into the material. The indentation surface serves as a measure of the hardness. Vickers hardness testing is performed in the same way, but it uses a pyramid-shaped indenter made of diamond. In Rockwell hardness testing, the hardness value is determined on the basis of the indentation depth of a diamond cone or a cemented carbide ball. Learn more about these methods in this video.

Thank you very much for the appreciation. I have no idea what machine this is supposed to represent. I looked at some reference pictures and then constructed the whole thing roughly for the 3D animation.

I don't think that it is suitable because you don't get valid and comparable results
