half topology spiritual learning, half stand up comedy, half meditation guidance, 150% will watch again and again...and again on second monitor with blender running wild on monitor 1. As a failed medicine student that was able to have career in 3d thanks in big part to your free videos I'll never be able to thank you enough. 🙏🙏🙏

Now I need to know what's the other n-word. NICE GEO TUT AS ALWAYS! Honestly, thanks so much! You are a huge reason why I understand how geometry works, and also why I'm not paralyzed with fear of booleans.

Yet another entertaining and informative blender video from one-zero-zero-one, like delicious and nutritious is to a good meal, where others might just make a meal of it. Cheers.

It's good to see that no matter which application someone use the tricks are the same to get a good topology. I found something very annoying about Blender in this video. When masterxeon selects two vertices and create an edge between them the orange colour of the newly created edge is amost the same of the grey faces! The new edge is almost invisible. I can see it clearly only when it is deselected and is black again. My advice to blender users is to change that dark-orange colour with something more bright!

Thanks for another great piece of topology analysis. There is one thing I’d do differently which I find helps hugely when cutting into a sphere… by starting with a uv sphere rotated 90° all of the loops are are nice and parallel. If I want to retain a spherical backface then I’ll weld a quad sphere with a UV sphere. If they’re the same dimensions the verts on the central loop match exactly.

I set it up problematic on purpose. The poor spheres are to create more flows that have to be managed in order to show how alternative cases are handled. I could definitely set myself up with easy solves but the goal was to show harder cases.

@@masterxeon1001 haha, I did think that after I posted the message. Nice work though. It’s certainly valuable seeing how it’s possible to wriggle out of sticky situations and get to an acceptable result.

@@3enny3oy i might come back and talk about the benefits of preplanning but I often never ever get that luxury in actual work. Its always messed up situations of shapes and closeness. I was thinking in my next one id use an icosphere but rotate it bad. But that would actually be harder mode. Cause the flows are so linear.

i got alot of b roll of it. Esp when an autosave doesnt save anything due to having multiple instances up. I lost a sculpt seconds after posting the other day. twitter.com/mxeon1001/status/1422275090763460619?s=20 Sometimes that will cancel an entire video.

is it possible to make 2 verticies become a different color if they are cloes enough? I feel that sometimes its hard to see if one point is actually two.
