Hardwell is considered one of the top DJs on the planet.
Music is all he's ever wanted to do. And from the small town of Breda in The Netherlands, Hardwell went from a parent-accompanied minor headlining in the hottest clubs in Holland to being named the number one DJ in the world.
Jarrett Bellini sat down with Hardwell in Atlanta to learn more about his life back home in Europe and the positive (and complimentary) future of EDM in America.

(Special Note by Jarrett)
I'm not very well-informed in the world of EDM. It's a genre I appreciate and occasionally listen to, but my uber-nerd encyclopedic knowledge of useless facts and figures is generally reserved for the Grateful Dead and Phish. That said, I was excited to learn more from (and about) one of the biggest dance music names on the planet. I've heard the term "mainstream" used several times when referring to Hardwell, and certainly that has to be the case when you are twice voted the number one DJ in the world. However, I am pleased to report that Hardwell was completely humble and professional. And I was genuinely appreciative that he carved out some time for me even though there was a nice gathering of friends and fans backstage. And chicken wings ... watch the video.
