It is funny how Andrew and Harry are considered the Spares but, in reality, Anne is the true Spare. She supports her brother KCIII with unflinching dedication. She always works so hard and supports every member of her family. The latest news that she is now supporting and encouraging Charlotte is just so typical of her. Yet the two true Spares are selfish, entitled morons. Anne epitomises generosity, caring and not seeking the limelight. It is wonderful to see a program covering the quiet working Royals. The ones who do not seek the limelight and are willing to take on the difficult support roles and listen to truly awful stories. Edward and Sophie have really come into their own in the hard work they are undertaking. It is so great to see the beautiful friendship between Sophie and Catherine. Zara and Mike are fabulous. I have great admiration for Princess Anne. She’s ROYAL, and she's done an outstanding job as a hard-working Royal from the front lines and behind the scene. I love her no-nonsense style, yet able to remain adaptable and a consistent, positive presence throughout her Royal career. She did well by her sister, Queen Elizabeth as well. She’s been a stealth figure as a mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend and she’s relatable to all. Sophie is also completely wonderful. She’s so down to earth, and she makes us feel good about ourselves with her easy, natural grace. I think the Monarch is beginning to pull together as a healthy family unit will do, and a new generation of “Royalty”has emerged better than expected. Between Prince William and his lovely bride, Princess Catherine, Princess Anne (new matriarch and unsung hero) her daughter, Zara and son-in-law, Mike, Sophie and Prince Edward have also rallied for their family and are also doing a fabulous job at it. While the King is scaling back on the number of close working Royals, their presence is felt and seen more and more, and integrating into this new chapter of their lives beautifully. The seasoned Royals make this all look so easy, but the responsibilities each one carries are huge while they bring hope and genuinuity to their people, without the drama we’ve endured since Merkless tried to join the team. OyyyVeyyy! Queen Elizabeth tried to be as accommodating as she could be without success, as did Prince Charles, along with the many others who quickly discovered there was never going to be a resolution of any sort where the Sussex’s were involved. And as it’s played itself out for 6 years, it’s looking like the conclusion of this ill fated marriage is upon them, where it’s remained for some time. I’ve watched King Charles these last years and how he’s dealt with his son and the tragedy(MM) brought into their lives, in awe of his patience and fatherly stance, until he simply couldn’t anymore. Harry and Merkless would have been dealt with far differently by many, including myself. Son or not, the defamation and abuse he/she brought to his ONE and ONLY FAMILY is reprehensible, and allowing his wife to continue with the victimization was grounds enough to justify charges being filed against the gruesome 2some, broke them financially, and perhaps brought them back down to Earth for a reality check before they destroyed themselves altogether. Princess Anne saw this in MM at their first meeting. Transparent as a shiny new window, and she made no apologies for her feelings about Merkless. Another of Anne’s keen qualities. If the Foo sh***, WEAR IT! I've followed the Royals for 50+ years with great interest and I always loved the Queen's diplomatic approach to whatever her agenda dictated. No wishy-washy game-playing with her. But always the perfect Lady. ❤

H and M could have followed Ann as an excellent role model for a spare. Had Harry embraced his mother’s admonition that he be a fine “wing man” to his brother was not to be. H wouldn’t have it and neither would his d-list wife. Both were too jealous and incapable of being second in line. H could have perhaps done a good job at wingman had he realized his own inadequacies. He wanted William’s position. A role he wasn’t a bit capable of filling. As he turned out H wasn’t capable of being in the role of even “ wingman” to his brother. As it turned out Harry didn’t have the discipline, emotional capacity or ability to serve as wingman.
