Strange how old tools very especially inspire thoights of the previous owners. Even less romantic tools like mechanic' s tools and older power tools. My brother very kindly restored and presented me with my late Dad's old Desoutter electric drill because he knew I had fond memories of it. I was in my Dad's workshop/garage today - every socket and old screwdriver, even his wee metal box of Allen keys, has a specific and unerasable memory associated with him. Thanks mate, I really enjoyed this.

Thanks for sharing this Mark, Old tools hold memories from the hands that previously used them. B It's a good thing to have memories held within those old treasures.
