My husband a couple of times has said Just wait in the truck to defend his family. And if you knew my quiet, soft spoken man. 2 times it was at the funeral home when our son's passed away and I couldn't handle it, Another is to defend me when my dad passed, When I heard this song when you said Wait in the truck, just wait in the truck, Hit me so hard I cry everytime I hear it.. I have loved this song from the first time I heard it! I seriously told my husband now that sometimes I wished that I had someone to tell me "just wait in the truck" back before I met him! I was in a really abusive relationship before. The POS is now sitting in jail awaiting trial for an unrelated case. Him and 3 others tortured a woman and dumped her body after putting her body in a toolbox. I pray her soul is at peace! And I pray he rots in hell!

You didn't write this song brother..Huddleston it's actually what happened to me down in Tennessee during the time when I was with lainey and the have mercy me is what I said to the judge man. And the gave me 5 years but sent me back to indiana and made me do 2house arrest. This isn't funny man you didn't write this and lainey actually showed up for me in court. She is my watermelon moonshine.. and yes I did grab a burning 🚬 from his ashtray it's in court records..
