This video is showing the beauty of a beautiful city locating in the horn of Africa. Why does the talk have to turn into a debate about politics. I am a southern somali who feels that the people of somaliland have spoken, let them enjoy their peace and beauty without them having to debate over it. It is and will be. Congrats bros/sis's inshallah one day the south can also prosper.

the houses are amazing, everyday there was like new construction while i was there, and inside the houses were amazing too. i hope they can start rebuildin mogadishu too now, cause i was born there as it was the capital even if my dad was puntland and mum hargiesa. peace too to the whole of the horn of Africa.

I could watch it over and over and over again. Truly great pictures and surprised at the development of the city. I think the civilians and the diaspora have done their bit to develop the city as can be seen from the pics in the video. The laid back, ineffective government there has a lot of catching up to do.

Somaliland and Somalia were always two seperate countries but they united in 1960 the same way like Egypt and Syria breifly united after their independence. Somaliland disolved the union in 1991 and went on its own. And Today Somaliland is a very peaceful democratic Islamic state.
