Hari Budha Magar - Rise Above Your Circumstances & Conquer Your Dreams

Hari Budha Magar has served in the British army with the Royal Gurkha Rifles for 15 years. He was medically discharged In 2010 because he lost both of his legs above the knee in an explosion in Afghanistan. But that didn’t stop him. Instead, he overcame his disability, his circumstances and rose above it. Since his injury, he has done some amazing things that even abled people wouldn’t dare, such as skydiving, skiing, archery, rock climbing, javelin, wheelchair rugby, basketball, table tennis, and he even cycled 100 km from Colchester to London.
He has already climbed three mountains including Mt Kilimanjaro, and on April 2021, he will be the first Bi-Lateral, above knee amputee to attempt to climb Mt.everest. When he succeeds, he will not only be setting a new world record, but he will be making history. He is a rare human and he is a warrior. Right now he is fighting for his family, for his community, for his country, for the fellow men that he has served with, and most importantly for the so-called disabled people all over the world.
