Thank you! Finally seeing someone remove the base, I hadn't bought it yet as I was waiting to see if it is removable, thanks!

Didn't think about the fact that you can obviously use it as a normal v60. Thanks for mentioning. Maybe I'll buy this if my old trusty v60 ever needs replacing! Was also wondering if you can just put the glass cone directly in your coffee server, that way there is less cleaning afterwards. Secondly I wondered if after brewing you can just close the dripper and put it on the counter, if it stops leaking once you close it. So many questions. Great video!

Thanks so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed my video :) Yeah it is a super fun dripper and very handy to have the switch function. You absolutely can use just the glass dripper if you have a stand or a server that it fits in. but yeah during my time using this dripper it was actually super easy to clean and it didn't have anywhere as much build up as I thought it would. The switch wont drip once its in the closed position but if you do put it on a countertop after brewing there is always a small bit of water that will transfer from the base to your countertop. (This is such a tiny amount of water tho) Anyways, hope this helps! If you have any other q's let me know :) Cheers

Great video! Have you tried to dial in immersion with a very bright natural anaerobic/fermented coffees?

Hey man, Thanks so much for watching 🤩 Yes I have, it’s very easy to dial in with the switch because of the immersion brewing it’s super forgiving with grind size. I drink lots of light - medium roasted coffee and I love funky fermented stuff as well 😉🤣

How come you don't show how to disassemble the unit? It's literally what most people are wondering with this new contraption. Also you used it right out of the box? You know it's dirty right? Disgusting.

I bought one and have tried several different brew techniques the verdict is still out. I used my V60 today to brew small batches and had great success maybe I’m just more comfortable with the $10 plastic one.

Absolutely fair enough☺️ I feel like for some people it just isn’t worth it and that’s ok. I think this is the main reason why I make these videos in addition to actually selling these products. Giving information so that people can make a decision on whether it’s worth it for them. My personal experience is that I REALLY enjoy the Hario switch, having that additional control of turning my dripper on/off really helps to give me another variable to control. if for whatever reason I had to cut down on my drippers I would probably opt for the Hario Switch and a plastic 01 Hario ☺️ Thanks so much for watching my video and I am sorry that you aren’t sure how you feel about the switch, give itsome time and maybe it will grow on you 🙌

@@TheBasicBarista To buy the switch first is the way to go for extreme versatility of brews 👍
