I live in aboard, and I know the coconut milk powder, liquid coconut milk tins, they are not healthy at all. Because the chemical what they put to preserve it. What do you know about cooking??? Here we buy whole coconut from Tamil shops because we do not want to live unhealthy life. I am totally disagreed to import coconuts.

@@MimshakMimshak-pv5ng you have the right to agree or disagree but the situation is not positive. We must import since there is a shortage. You can’t grow a coconut tree within 3 months. After a year or so we can go back to our normal routine of eating local foods again. I didn't say everyone should eat processed stuffs. It should come down to a choice where people can chose between affordability and convenience. Speaking of healthiness, what are the top selling items in food shops? Are they healthy at all? You get the point. There must be options where people can decide.
The rice retail price are going higher and higher. Do something for that.

Another suggestion for the President. We know that large quantities of vegetables are periodically perished and thrown away. Why not use the Freez technology and packet it and stock it to use during off seasons. Australia and New Zealand do this right through out the year. Woolworths, Countdown, Coles, Aldi frozen veges are examples. In this method no neutriants are wasted. We only need large set of freezers and machines to reduce moisture of the veges. Please pass this to our AKD with utmost respect. Thank you.
