Thank you so much for the tips! I have a 3 year old, who stays in the bed, but sits up and plays silently with her toys. She can do it for more than an hour. If I ask her to lay down, she starts turning and tossing and eventually sits up again until she is completely exhausted. Do you have any advice?

Maybe her bedtime should be moved back a little bit? Maybe she's not tired yet and she's using quiet play time to help wind down?

I’m an adult with Septo Optic Dysplasia. So, because of this, I’m totally blind and on the autism spectrum, and I have CPTSD. Sleep can be challenging sometimes. So, for my bedtime, I always have Soundscapes on on the TV, I have a weighted blanket, and some stuffed animals. Sometimes I do wake up in the middle of the night because I have to go to the bathroom, and it can be hard for me to get back to sleep. What could I do about this?

Hi there! Maybe first try decreasing the amount of liquids before bed. That way you're less likely to wake up needing to use the bathroom. When going back to sleep - do the things that you do to help you fall asleep at the beginning of the night - whatever helps your body and brain feel calm and ready to fall asleep.
