Hi Trevor, no longer have Netflix so won’t be watching Hassard’s latest folly into program making. Once again he demonstrates what an arrogant/entitled ponce he really is, at a time when millions of people can’t afford Christmas gifts for their kids, many pensioners freezing 🥶- terrified to turn on their heating for fear of bills they cannot afford to pay, others facing the choice between heat or eat, & the Windsor genius thinks it’s a good idea to promote the lifestyle led by himself & his Polo chums in this time of cruel austerity & hardship.🙄 His cranial cavity obviously has much in common with the famous Polo Mint, a vacuous hole in the middle!🤪 Hopefully this will be another nail in the coffin for the ‘Brand Sussex’ PR machine!🤞🙏

Your right Trevor, it’s a rich man’s sport. But there is entry level of the sport. Here in Michigan we have 2 main colleges, one University of Michigan (doctor & lawyers). Then there’s Michigan State University known for big Veterans program, large animal. State has a Polo team, had a friend her daughter was one them. Daughter has horse background Western and English, polo was new. She was hit with mallet, broken arm, then come off horse broken collarbone. State also has a Rodeo program too, College Rodeo always sells out. My horse board is $350. a month at a private farm with indoor arena. My horse Little LuLu loves it there and my bad boy Whobee loved it there too. I had Whobee at 3 barns kicked out of 2 barns. Whobee did not like people sticking arms in stall for pets. Even with his stall sign Do not Feed me , Do not try to pet, I BITE arms and fingers. But Whobee was the perfect gentleman out of stall or his paddock. We won over 30 championships in Dressage lol. 🐴😆🇺🇸

I know nothing about it except what I've read or heard - now these horses, they are only used for about seven minutes, after which they are exhausted - and as the 'match' can go on for hours - that means they need lots of horses. How can little Johnny from the council terrace get a string of horses to even try to get any good at the game? And how many of the horses are 'retired' (with a bullet?) because they get injured? And you can't put a horse in a garage, and just leave it 'parked' there until you want to use it, like you would a car or a motorbike. - - - - I rate the game of polo on the same level as fox-hunting - ie less than zero. The bods have to be sick in the head to get any 'pleasure' from it.

I don't mind watching polo, IF those taking part take care of their horses, which they usually do. I have played polo, it is extremely expensive and that's not including the horses, well ponies as they have to be a certain size. They need to be changed after a certain period as it is very energetic for them, they would never last the whole match.

They aren't baby horses. They are a breed of horses called ponies due to short legs. Baby horses are colts. So these are adult ponies. Guess u watched too much " my little pony".

There is one thing that Polo has in common with all professional spectator sports : $$$ The difference is that a huge audience pays big bucks to watch and enjoy the other sports which translates into massive salaries for the players versus polo where the players pay massive amounts of money to be seen by few and enjoyed by themselves. But in the end, all the successful players in both sports live uncommonly rich lives--big houses, big home gyms, big travel, big parties, fancy cars, etc.

Let’s see you need 4 polo ponies a couple of grooms, pots of money. Dressage or show jumping is much more interesting to watch, great skill. I watched polo in Windsor park and to be honest it was more about the eating and drinking and laughing.
