Dennis Van haarlem, black choirs who sing with such purity and a powerful soul, sing like this because of their belief in Jesus. It is their personal encounter with Christ, their faith, Love for Jesus and their fellow man that you hear in every note. Just something to think about :) Another Gospel Choir who demonstrated singing with a powerful soul is a choir called, "The Golden Gospel Singers". The Golden Gospel Singers sang a song called, "Oh Freedom!". It is worth a listen :D I hope you have a great day!

@@jpgmrk The Gospel is first and foremost the message of how Jesus paid with His own life the penalty for our wrongdoings. The Gospel music genre is just a tool to convey the message. It clearly is beautiful in so many ways but if you are deeply opposed to the message, it will be hard to enjoy Gospel music.
