The Harlequin Carnival is a surrealist painting by Joan Miró dating from 1924-1925. The Harlequin Carnival is the most interesting work of this period and achieved great success in the group exhibition of the Peinture surréaliste at the Pierre Gallery (Paris) at the end of 1925 where it was exhibited alongside works by Giorgio de Chirico, Paul Klee, Man Ray, Pablo Picasso and Max Ernst.
